Hello, January!

Dear Royce:

Thank you! I love the colorway, too. I love yours as well. It reads more purply-blue to me. I’m sure it’s beautiful in RL. I would like something like that to knit a hat or another shawl.

In fact, I did get the first mystery KAL clue knitted this week. I did not start on Sunday, as you know. I found the yarn on Monday afternoon and wound it that evening. It wound into 2 large cakes and then some. The “then some” ended up being a tangled mess of many short pieces that didn’t seem to be skeined properly. Some of the lengths were only a few yards long. I was a little disappointed in that but do love the yarn. It’s a pleasure to knit, and I love the colorway, too. By the time I had sorted out the tangled mess, I only had time to cast on. I did the knitting over a couple of nights. Hard to believe it took that long to knit 10 rows! I’m itching to get going on the patterning, though. I don’t want to rush time but Sunday cannot get here fast enough in some respects.

So back to my boring sock. I’m just not into it.

About snowandroyce

Snow and Royce are friends. For a long time, Snow lived in a Southern state quite near Royce. Then Snow moved back home to the Northern land of her birth. They decided to start blogging just to keep in touch because email, Facebook, and other forms of digital communication just aren't quite enough. Royce has a dog named Joe. She likes miniatures, knitting, her grandchildren, vodka, and gadgets in no particular order. Snow likes knitting, miniatures, and would like to be a voracious reader, if only she could stay awake.
