I did really finish my Lady Violet Dinner Gauntlets. I just failed to put up some pictures. I did put some ribbon in them but not really sure I will leave it there. The ribbon color shows up much brighter in pictures then it really is. It’s less than 1 month now until Season 4!
I am doing a little knitting for Christmas but not really much. I have a bit to finish up—just in time for Christmas. Just a few things, and yes, a Christmas stocking to sew up! Pictures soon, I hope.
Happy Birthday to the Andrea, the Younger One! Hope she has a really significant 40th. As you know, my youngest sibling turned 40 this year as well. Cannot believe it.
Your decorations look very festive, and your hand-knit stockings on the fireplace look so nice. I’m really glad you decided to make these. I have all my decorations up. Most of them haven’t been out of a box for well over 20 years, since I just didn’t bother decorating much while I was Down South.
I’m so glad you got Little Jo. I’m sure she is fun to have around. It’s amazing that she looks so much like a baby Joe and has some of his habits. I wonder if she will like Neighbor L’s calf?
I’ve been to a school “holiday” concert for one niece—she played her flute in the 6th grade band, as well as singing in the 6th grade choir. Thursday night was one evening of the annual community Christmas concert. Ticket money goes to the local food bank. My 8-year-old niece was in the Kid’s Chorus. The concert was good, if not a little bit too long. It snowed all day yesterday, and I went out shopping. At each stop I had to clean the truck off before I could drive off. It’s now snowing again lightly but is expected to clear out by mid-morning.
Amazing that it’s already half-way through December! Can you believe it?
