I made navy bean soup last week and received really great reviews from my neighbor, who had never (shocking!) had navy beans before. I then made lentil soup this weekend. Not as good but it’s filling.

What is your favorite NEW show this fall? I actually started watching Master Chef Junior. I really dislike the main chef on the regular show and never watch it, but the judges are just super pleasant and non-judgmental to all the kids, even if they really mess up. The talent of these 8- to 13-year-old’s is amazing! Their talent reviles any professional adult chef I’ve seen on TV.
