Cloud Illusions

Dear Snow,

My Cloud Illusions shawl will soon be done.  I’m adding a picture here and will add another one when it is finished and blocked.  Thanks again for “making” me knit lace.  I am really loving it and love knitted from charts.  Amazing!  This shawl is knitted in Bombay, the same yarn as my MysteryKAL shawl, but a different colorway, of course.

I saw the Cloud Illusions shawl at the Knaughty Knitter and fell in love with it. Yarnenabler is very yarn enabling, and Friday night, I fell in love with another shawl she knitted. So, I’m sure I will end up knitting it, also. Oh – and there was another shawl a few weeks ago that she knitted and I bought the yarn for it. I really think she needs to stop doing this to me. She just laughs, of course. 🙂

Guess who came to Friday night knitting group? ……..Our Bead Expert!! It was good to see her and get caught up with things after not seeing her for so long.

I was happy to see that you had a nice mini vacation. In the first picture, were you taking a picture of that man’s butt while he was bending over his car?  Can’t imagine what he was doing and not sure I want to know.

Sorry about the trip to the ER. I couldn’t tell who the picture was of and hope that whoever it was is all healed now.

Sky Lanterns are so pretty! We saw several on Jacksonville Beach. I definitely agree about the fire and paper thing.

Hot and humid today, as usual, but looks like rain.  Think I will knit.

Hugs, Royce

About snowandroyce

Snow and Royce are friends. For a long time, Snow lived in a Southern state quite near Royce. Then Snow moved back home to the Northern land of her birth. They decided to start blogging just to keep in touch because email, Facebook, and other forms of digital communication just aren't quite enough. Royce has a dog named Joe. She likes miniatures, knitting, her grandchildren, vodka, and gadgets in no particular order. Snow likes knitting, miniatures, and would like to be a voracious reader, if only she could stay awake.
