Knitted Bracelet and Stuff

Dear Snow,

I don’t usually knit things like this, but I knitted a Cabled Bracelet in your color – purple.  It was quick and fun to do and I’ve actually worn it.

Joe got his stitches out Monday, but they had to bandage it again as he wouldn’t hold still and it started bleeding. We took the bandage off today and it looks quite good. We have a cone for him to wear if he bothers it too much, but so far, he’s being a good dog. I’m so glad. You know he would hate wearing that cone thing!

Sky Scarf: I knitted a purple row today as we have a severe storm watch and I’m sure it will be a severe storm warning very soon. It’s very dark outside and looks like it could pour any second. There have been tornadoes in a few places with this storm, but I’m hoping it’s just a regular storm here.  That’s the way it usually ends up – well, except for that time that the tornado took out the house just two houses from our house.  Remember that?  I had to pick Hannah up and we drove underneath the tornado.  I’ll never forget that or the look on Hannah’s face!

Signing off due to weather.

Hope you are well and happy!

Hugs, Royce

About snowandroyce

Snow and Royce are friends. For a long time, Snow lived in a Southern state quite near Royce. Then Snow moved back home to the Northern land of her birth. They decided to start blogging just to keep in touch because email, Facebook, and other forms of digital communication just aren't quite enough. Royce has a dog named Joe. She likes miniatures, knitting, her grandchildren, vodka, and gadgets in no particular order. Snow likes knitting, miniatures, and would like to be a voracious reader, if only she could stay awake.
