Lazy Saturday Afternoon

Dear Royce:

I just finished Growing Up Country: Memories of An Iowa Farm Girl. It was good, and I could totally relate to so much she wrote.

It snowed last night, a good 3 or 4 inches worth. It’s been trying to snow this afternoon as well. It’s a “cold-damp” out there.  I did some housework and laundry. I ran to Horrock’s, where I bought radishes. They have erected the big garden seed section in the store, but no one seems to be buying yet.

I think I’ll go finish watching the Nationwide Jeff Foxworthy Grit Chips 300 from Bristol. I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a grit chip. Maybe I’ll take a little nap, too.

I like Antiques with Class. You should pace yourself so you have something to do down the road! LOL. Enjoy “Old Sock.”

Enjoy the sun and warm weather.

Hugs,

~Snow

About snowandroyce

Snow and Royce are friends. For a long time, Snow lived in a Southern state quite near Royce. Then Snow moved back home to the Northern land of her birth. They decided to start blogging just to keep in touch because email, Facebook, and other forms of digital communication just aren't quite enough. Royce has a dog named Joe. She likes miniatures, knitting, her grandchildren, vodka, and gadgets in no particular order. Snow likes knitting, miniatures, and would like to be a voracious reader, if only she could stay awake.
