Comcast Needs Help/Downton Abbey

Dear Comcast:

I am a current Comcast TV & Internet customer. I have been since moving. You have my address because you can send me a bill—-yet you send me a piece of mail every other day suggesting I switch to Comcast TV & Internet. Today’s mail contained an invitation to switch from my other TV & Internet service provider for the very same package I currently have.

From my experience obtaining your service and getting issues worked out, I know you have way too many departments. I think this bureaucracy has led to this issue. You have one department blindly mass marketing to people who are already customers. This is probably a sub-department of the marketing wing, right? They are charged with mailing out massive amounts of mail but aren’t allowed to cross-reference the current customer database to avoid mailing to existing customers.

How much time and money could you save moi if you eliminated this crazy attempt to gain a new customer when contacting an existing customer?

And finally, Comcast, what is your name? Comcast or Xfinity? Can’t decide?

P.S. I can’t complain about your Internet service at all. It’s great and consistent.

Dear Royce:

So happy Mrs. Hughes is cancer-free.

I cannot wait for O’Brien to get her revenge on Thomas. What do you think she’ll do? She has a lot of goods on him.

Horrified for poor Edith…Sir Anthony is no gentleman. Granny was right. Why didn’t Grand-ma-ma come from the US for her wedding?

At least Matthew saved the family from the degrading downward spiral  to Downton Place.

I took the Downton Abbey Which Job Is Right For You quiz. At least I didn’t end up with former housemaid Ethel’s position….

About snowandroyce

Snow and Royce are friends. For a long time, Snow lived in a Southern state quite near Royce. Then Snow moved back home to the Northern land of her birth. They decided to start blogging just to keep in touch because email, Facebook, and other forms of digital communication just aren't quite enough. Royce has a dog named Joe. She likes miniatures, knitting, her grandchildren, vodka, and gadgets in no particular order. Snow likes knitting, miniatures, and would like to be a voracious reader, if only she could stay awake.
