When an Earl Dresses Like a Waiter

Dear Royce:

Pioneer Women is running a giveaway for a Kitchen Aid mixer for naming your favorite actor.

The first name to pop in my head was pretty random—Bill Nighy. I know, totally weird and random. I haven’t even watched something he was in recently. I haven’t even watched much of anything he’s starred in. I took notice of him I think in Love Actually first or maybe it was The Girl in the Cafe. At any rate, I don’t think I’ve seen more than 3 or 4 of his movies.

Finally, I decided to go for a new favorite—Hugh Bonneville, aka Robert, Earl of Grantham. Also known as “that guy mistaken by his own mother for a waiter.”

Hope you enjoyed the first episode of Season Three. I’m really sad for some silly reason that Robert put all his fortune into the failed railroad investment. I’m also hoping Ms. Hughes’ scare turns out to be benign.

If you know, don’t tell me.

Adios,

~Snow

About snowandroyce

Snow and Royce are friends. For a long time, Snow lived in a Southern state quite near Royce. Then Snow moved back home to the Northern land of her birth. They decided to start blogging just to keep in touch because email, Facebook, and other forms of digital communication just aren't quite enough. Royce has a dog named Joe. She likes miniatures, knitting, her grandchildren, vodka, and gadgets in no particular order. Snow likes knitting, miniatures, and would like to be a voracious reader, if only she could stay awake.
