Another Gray Day in Mitten Land

Dear Royce:

I had another steel-gray sky day. A minor amount of flurries early this morning with a promise of perhaps 1 inch this evening. Even now there are a few flakes flying about, but it’s not trying very hard. I guess two  strands of gray are in order, as the flurries were barely perceptible.

I did finally extract the new screwdrivers from their organizer berth, although it wasn’t easy. The thing can be mounted on a wall or shelf. Stanley didn’t bother to include the screws. I was thinking about mounting it to the front of my desk. It would be a fence, to keep the pens and pencils from rolling FORWARD. And how handy to have a whole set of 6 drivers at your disposable!

I still hadn’t found my surge protector power strips, so I finally went to Staples and bought one strip. I think I can live without replacing both of them. I just cannot fathom how they got lost.

I’m thinking about making salmon with that sauce that’s so good whenever I cook again. I need soy and brown sugar, yes?

P.S. The Veggie Straws are the most pitiful little bag you’ve ever seen….probably not 1/3 the size of Murfreesboro bag and more than half the price on sale at Meijer.

About snowandroyce

Snow and Royce are friends. For a long time, Snow lived in a Southern state quite near Royce. Then Snow moved back home to the Northern land of her birth. They decided to start blogging just to keep in touch because email, Facebook, and other forms of digital communication just aren't quite enough. Royce has a dog named Joe. She likes miniatures, knitting, her grandchildren, vodka, and gadgets in no particular order. Snow likes knitting, miniatures, and would like to be a voracious reader, if only she could stay awake.
